Here on 30-A, a few weeks in the spring are at full summer density. Vacationers stream to the beach in need of their favorite beach guy. None the less, Seaoats Beach Service is at one fifth of its summer staff. Without the cushion of the college and high school kids, a severe attendant to attendee ratio quickly develops. The core group at SeaOats Beach Service is nearly overwhelmed. I say nearly because, that nucleus is made up of Timmy V., The Big Man Hunter Woodruff, Ross Swendrowski and Jordan Bell. In an atomic whirl of speed and efficacy the beach guys of SeaOats are often mistaken, by the people they serve, as superheroes…. Mistaken?!?!… Well now, I have misspoken.
